New Hampshire House Votes Down, SIA Opposed, Anti-Biometric Legislation

The New Hampshire legislature voted down legislation (HB 1409) that would have prohibited the use of biometric technology in both privately and publicly issued identification cards. The bill was heard in Committee and forwarded to the House floor with a reccomendation of "do not pass," and on March 18th the House voted against HB 1409. SIA Helps Gain Unfavorable Vote on Anti-biometric Legislation in New Hampshire

The New Hampshire legislature considered legislation (HB 1409) that would prohibit the use of biometric technology in both privately and publicly issued identification cards. The bill was voted against during a Committee hearing earlier this month, in which SIA submitted testimony against the proposal.
