2008 Training Schedule
Classroom Cancellation Policy
The Security Industry Association reserves the right to cancel CSPM classroom sessions with up to three weeks notice before the first scheduled day of the class. SIA will credit participants toward a future scheduled class or reimburse the cost of the class but will not be responsible for flight, hotel, or other arrangements made by the participant. SIA also reserves the right to cancel a class within three weeks of the scheduled start date due to extenuating circumstances; in the event the class is cancelled within three weeks before the start of the class SIA will refund the cost of the class and provide compensation for associated flights and hotels as deemed reasonable and appropriate by SIA. Students will be notified of class cancellations via phone or email as provided on their registration form. SIA is not responsible for any messages not received provided the student is contacted via the email or phone number they provided on the registration form. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure all information provided to SIA is valid and complete.
Students may cancel their CSPM classroom session up to 30 days before the start of the course and may receive either a full refund or credit toward an upcoming scheduled class. Students may cancel between 30 days and the start of the course for a 50% refund; the remaining 50% will be retained by SIA. Students who do not attend their scheduled CSPM training session and do not notify SIA in advance forfeit all associated fees and costs. Emergency cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Student cancellations must be submitted to SIA in writing via standard mail or email. SIA will confirm all cancellations within 3 business days of receipt. No enrollment should be considered cancelled without written confirmation from SIA.
