Maureen Fanguy, TWIC Program Manager for TSA, provided a brief program overview, examined implementation and operational challenges, and shared details on the roll-out of the Card Reader pilot program. Webinar — The IPv6 Transition: Are you ready for the next step in the IP-Enabled World?
This event took place on October 3, 2007.

Fred Schobert Chief Technology Officer, Integrated Technology Services, Federal Acquisition Service, GSA said opportunities existed for the private sector to help Federal agencies make the transition and develop new IPv6 enterprise architecture. View speaker presentation.

Ray Coulombe of Cisco Systems provided an overview of possibilities created by IPv6 including larger address space, improved host and router discovery, and mandated security for IP datagrams. View speaker presentation.

Brian Carle and Fredrik Nilsson of Axis communications concluded the program with an overview of how IPv6 addresses are assigned and configured. View speaker presentation.

A Conversation with GSA
This web seminar was hosted on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 and was the first in a series of policy briefings that SIA will be holding throughout the year. This particular event featured Senior Policy Advisor to the GSA Administrator, Josh Sawislak and covered a variety of salient GSA and industry topics including HSPD12, cooperative purchasing and more.
